Woman Grandmaster Guliskhan Nakhbayeva was born on June 20th 1991 in Kazakhstan. She started to play chess when she was 6 years old, first coach was her mother, also professional chess player.

Guliskhan is the leader of Kazakhstan Olympic team, last year in Istanbul she scored 6,5 out of 9 on the first board, made a draw with former world champion Hou Yifan and gained her third WGM norm to become the third ever Woman Grandmaster in her country.

Twice Asian Champion U-16 and U-18, Vice-champion U-20 and Zonal Champion 2013, Guliskhan also likes swimming and studying languages.
